CAT-Scan

A CAT-Scan is a radiological examination the produces cross-section-images of the body. The whole exam lasts for only a few minutes. You have to lie on a comfortable couch which will move through a ring like opening with a diameter of 60cm. For a good image-quality it is most important that you lie still during the examination.

If an iv contrast-injection is necessary, you will be informed before or during the exam.
