A balanced and varied nutrition is a key prerequisite for our health, wellbeing and vitality. Along with optimal nutrition, physical training also plays a vital role.

Our meals contain many substances that make sure that our body stays fit, active and healthy. No single food (except for breast milk) provides all the nutrients a human body needs to survive. That is why a well sorted and varied diet is the best way for us to ensure that we provide our organism with most or all vital substances. The more one-sided our nutrition is, the greater the odds will be that our body suffers from an insufficient supply of important nutrients. The food pyramid below shows you at a glance what a healthy diet should look like.

The large nutritional spectrum is divided into different groups of foodstuffs. The larger the segment of the pyramid, the more and more often we should eat food from that group. It is an uncontested fact that a balanced nutrition  - from childhood to old age - has a positive effect on a person's health and wellbeing.

So what is an optimal diet both for healthy people and for patients?

If you have any questions about your nutrition, either as an in-patient at our clinic or as a walk-in client, please do not hesitate to contact our dieticians by phone or e-mail:
