Anesthetic Birth Assistance and Pain Therapy

Anesthetic Birth Assistance and Pain Therapy

Under the direction of Prim. Dr. Max Gosch, the anesthetic birth assistance and pain therapy offers all anesthetic procedures, as well as different pain therapy methods, in order to ensure the patients the widest range of treatment.

Even prior to the birth, the different methods of regional anesthetics for birth assistance are discussed and explained during the course of regular patient information evenings. A colleague, who is well-versed in one of these methods, is available to the patient all round the clock at the time of the birth. The pain of giving birth is eased in the shape of a so-called "walking epidural", during which the motor functions largely remain intact.
